Our commitment to sustainability
begins with our own actions
We hold ourselves to the same standards as we do our investee companies. We endeavour to act responsibly at all times which sets the tone for how we treat each other, our investors, our community and wider society.
Troy’s Sustainability & Social Responsibility Report
We have been recognised as a carbon neutral company since 2020 by Carbon Footprint Limited. We support a number of projects – such as rehabilitating boreholes in Uganda and reforestation in Kenya’s Great Rift Valley – to offset our operational carbon emissions.
We acknowledge that actively mitigating our impact on the environment and wider society through the way in which we manage our investors’ assets will be far greater than the impact we can make as a small business in a single office location. As such, we became a signatory to the Net Zero Asset Managers initiative, promoting the drive towards achieving net zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050.
We seek to extend our positive impact beyond our immediate sphere; our philanthropy is an important way in which we can share our success with those in greater need than ourselves. We have long-supported a wide range of social and environmental initiatives in the UK and the rest of the world.

Working towards collective change
We collaborate with like-minded investors to extend our influence – be it by supporting industry initiatives such as Girls Are INvestors to promote gender parity in the investment management industry, or participating in collaborative company engagements via forums like Climate Action 100+ to drive positive impact.
We are also a signatory to the United Nations Principles for Responsible Investment and the 2020 UK Stewardship Code, evidencing our commitment to being a responsible steward of our clients’ irreplaceable capital.
