Investment Trusts


We were appointed investment adviser to Personal Assets Trust in 2009 and became its investment manager on 1st May 2020. The Company was listed in 1983 and it is a constituent of the FTSE 250 Index.

In 2009, Troy was appointed investment manager of the Troy Income & Growth Trust plc. It was founded in 1988 and was formerly known as Glasgow Income Trust plc.

In 2020, Troy was appointed investment manager of the Securities Trust of Scotland plc. The trust was founded in 2005.

For each of these investment trusts we aim to protect and grow investors’ capital whilst delivering lower than average volatility through the investment cycle.

Personal Assets Trust

Personal Assets Trust is a portfolio that invests in multiple asset classes and geographies in a similar way to the Trojan Fund. It has a large investor base among private individuals and its primary objective is to protect their wealth in real terms over the long-term. Its secondary objective is to provide capital growth.

Troy Income & Growth Trust aims to generate an attractive income yield predominantly by investing in UK-listed companies which exhibit potential growth in income and capital. The trust is invested in a similar way to the Trojan Income Fund.
