Troy Awarded Electric & General Fund Mandate

This new mandate will be run by Gabrielle Boyle, portfolio manager of the £100m Trojan Global Equity Fund, with support from the Troy investment team.

Commenting, Troy’s Chief Executive Sebastian Lyon said: “We are delighted to be appointed as investment manager of Electric and General, which has a long and enduring heritage and will fit well with our long-term investment approach.”

Gerry Aherne, Chairman of the independent board of directors of Electric and General, added: “The board is very pleased that Troy is to become the investment manager of Electric and General and considers the appointment to be in the best long-term interests of our investors. Having undertaken a comprehensive fund manager review we are impressed with Troy’s investment strategy and track record, which complements the fund’s objective of seeking to deliver consistent investment returns over the long-term.”
