Troy Asset Management is an independent fund management company which specialises in generating absolute returns for investors. We manage substantial assets including three open-ended investment funds: the Trojan Fund, the Trojan Income Fund and the Trojan Capital Fund. Our investors include private individuals, charities, pension funds, trusts and endowments.

Troy was established in 2000 by the late Lord Weinstock and was named after his 1979 Epsom Derby winner. The company was founded on the premise that many investors were disillusioned with the focus of the investment management industry on relative, rather than absolute, returns. The objective was to create a fund management business that was open to a wide group of investors who shared the same philosophy. At Troy, we seek to preserve and build our investors’ wealth by constructing conservative portfolios for the long term, while maintaining competitive fees, tax efficiency and transparency.

Troy operates with a small, close-knit group of investment professionals. We focus completely on managing portfolios and communicating with our investors. We believe in aligning our interests as closely as possible with those of our investors. All our executive directors and fund managers are significant shareholders in Troy and in the Trojan Investment Funds.
